This event, entitled ‘New Year’s Rhapsody No. 68’, will centre around Problem Solver 68 members, and adds two new characters along with up to 1,200 in premium currency simply from logging in.
The Blue Archive New Year event stars Problem Solver 68, a school club made up of several Gehenna Academy students. Aru, Mutsuki, Kayoko, and Haruka are looking to take their budding criminal organization to the next level by dressing to impress for their New Year’s shrine visit. Hijinks, naturally, will ensue. The event adds Aru and Mutsuki in New Year’s kimono outfits. Aru (New Year) and Mutsuki (New Year) are both Striker units. Aru’s sniper rifle now does Piercing damage, and her EX skill chains its damage to enemies caught in its arc. Mutsuki’s machine gun spreads its damage out in an unusual arch-shaped pattern to light up foes with Mystic damage.
In addition to the characters and story, Nexon has added 15 different New Year-themed furniture items to play with. These include the New Year Pattern Background and the New Year Releazing Kotatsu. As an added treat, players will receive 1,200 Pyroxrne just by logging in before the August 16th and will be awarded a New Year’s Lucky Puch for completing the event story. This can then be exchanged for items such as Mustuki’s Elpeh and Kayoko’s Eleph until the end of the month.
Various events are planned, but the primary one is the log-in bonus that only requires you to log in to Blue Archive by Tuesday, August 16th, and will hand out 1,200 of the premium in-game currency Pyroxene.
